NYSEIndustrialsElectrical Equipment

Keysight Technologies, Inc. is a global provider of design and test solutions for the computing, communications and electronics markets, incorporated in Delaware in December 2013 and tracing its heritage back more than 80 years to the beginning of Silicon Valley. Its mission is "accelerating innovation to connect and secure the world." It helps customers design, validate, manufacture, deploy and optimize their products using a portfolio of hardware, software and services. Revenue comes primarily from research and development applications and, to a lesser degree, from manufacturing and operations applications. It generated $5.4 billion of revenue in 2025, $5.0 billion in 2024 and $5.5 billion in 2023.

The portfolio is sold standalone or combined into application-specific solutions. Hardware includes spectrum and signal analyzers, network analyzers, power analyzers, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, network test products and network visibility products. Software falls into three categories: instrument software applications, software application solutions that unify multiple instruments, and standalone design, simulation, emulation, test automation and data management software, including computer-aided engineering. Keysight Global Services provides product support (parts, repair and calibration), technical and application support (KeysightCare), and professional services such as installation, training and engineering. There are two reportable segments. The Communications Solutions Group serves commercial communications (wireless, wireline, data center and enterprise) and aerospace, defense and government markets. The Electronic Industrial Solutions Group serves automotive and energy, semiconductor, and general electronics markets. Recent acquisitions include Spirent Communications, the Optical Solutions Group business from Synopsys, PowerArtist from Ansys, ESI Group, Riscure and AnaPico.

Keysight serves about 40,000 end customers a year in over 100 countries, including many Fortune 1000 companies. Customers include semiconductor, device and network equipment manufacturers, communications service providers, cloud computing providers, aerospace and defense prime contractors and suppliers, government agencies, automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, alternative energy suppliers, semiconductor and capital equipment companies, universities and research organizations. Applications span technologies such as 5G, 6G, satellite, high-speed ethernet, AI data center infrastructure, electric and autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity and quantum research.

Keysight sells through a global direct sales force of technical sales and application engineers, complemented by indirect sales partners, electronic commerce and a dedicated enterprise software sales force. A centralized order fulfillment organization supplies customers worldwide, and an extensive network of suppliers and subcontractors complements in-house capabilities, which include an in-house semiconductor fab and custom packaging technology centers. Research and development spending was $1,007 million in 2025, with a central team called Keysight Labs. Keysight competes with companies or divisions of companies with substantial resources, as well as more specialized regional competitors, and says none offers the same range of products and services at its scale.
