ITT INC. (ITT)

SEC filings, insider trading & institutional ownership from EDGAR.

NYSEIndustrialsMachinery

ITT Inc. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered critical components and customized technology solutions, primarily for the transportation, industrial and energy markets. Its components are integral to the operation of equipment, systems and manufacturing processes where reliability and performance are critical. The businesses share an operating model built on engineering capabilities and close customer relationships, which the company says create recurring revenue, aftermarket opportunities and content on long-lived OEM platforms. In 2025 the company had about $3.9 billion of sales across approximately 125 countries, with 65% of revenue outside the U.S.

ITT operates through three segments. Motion Technologies (MT) makes brake pads, shock absorbers, energy absorption components and damping technologies for passenger cars, trucks, commercial and military vehicles, buses and trains, through the ITT Friction Technologies, KONI and Axtone business units. Friction sells original equipment and aftermarket brake pads, including formulations for hybrids and electric vehicles. KONI serves rail, car and racing, bus, truck and trailer, and defense markets, and Axtone makes rail impact energy absorption components and springs. Industrial Process (IP) makes industrial pumps, valves, plant optimization and remote monitoring systems, and provides aftermarket parts and services under brands such as Goulds Pumps, Bornemann, Rheinhütte Pumpen, Engineered Valves, PRO Services, Habonim and Svanehøj. Aftermarket solutions were about 40% of IP revenue in 2025. Connect & Control Technologies (CCT) designs and makes connectors, cable assemblies, and actuation, flow control, energy absorption and composite components under brands including Cannon, VEAM, BIW Connector Systems, kSARIA, Aerospace Controls and Enidine.

MT sells to automotive OEMs, Tier-1 brake and shock absorber manufacturers, train manufacturers and operators, distributors and aftermarket networks. Aumovio SE, spun off from Continental AG in September 2025, is the largest customer; sales to Aumovio and Continental represented 17% of MT revenue and about 6% of total ITT revenue. IP serves energy, chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, general industrial, marine, mining, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and power generation customers. They range from multinational companies and engineering, procurement and construction firms to regional distributors and end-users, and independent distributors account for about one-third of IP revenue. CCT serves aerospace and defense, industrial, transportation (including EV charging), medical and energy markets. The brands have a presence in emerging markets including China, India, Mexico, Brazil and Saudi Arabia.

MT has manufacturing in Europe, China and North America, and IP has significant operations in the United States, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Germany, Denmark and Singapore. ITT had about 11,600 employees in 38 countries at December 31, 2025, including about 3,300 in the U.S. Its markets are served by large global and national companies; the pump and valve markets are highly competitive and fragmented, with many regional competitors and a limited number of larger global peers. Recent portfolio changes include the January 2024 acquisition of Svanehøj Group A/S, the September 2024 acquisition of kSARIA, and the July 2024 sale of Wolverine Advanced Materials. The company is subject to environmental laws covering air emissions, water discharges and waste disposal.
