DuPont de Nemours, Inc. is a Delaware corporation and a provider of advanced solutions across healthcare, water, construction and industrial markets, from clean water delivery to medical packaging. It was formed in 2015 as DowDuPont Inc. for the merger of The Dow Chemical Company and E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, completed in 2017. It then spun off Dow Inc. and Corteva, Inc. in 2019. It has since reshaped its portfolio by divesting Nutrition & Biosciences (2021), most of Materials & Mobility (2022) and Delrin® (2023). In the third quarter of 2025 it agreed to sell its Aramids business, expected to close around the end of the first quarter of 2026. It also separated its Electronics business into the independent company Qnity Electronics, Inc. on November 1, 2025.

Following that separation, DuPont reports two segments. Healthcare & Water Technologies includes Healthcare Technologies, which supplies medical packaging, specialty medical device components and protective garments under brands such as TYVEK® and TYCHEM®. It also includes Water Technologies, which supplies filtration and separation products including AMBERLITE™ ion exchange resins, FILMTEC™ reverse osmosis and nanofiltration elements, and INGE™ and ITEGRATEC™ ultrafiltration modules. Diversified Industrials includes Building Technologies (TYVEK® house wrap, STYROFOAM™ insulation, CORIAN® solid surface) and Industrial Technologies (Vespel® shapes and parts, MOLYKOTE® lubricants, BETAFORCE™ and BETASEAL™ structural adhesives, Cyrel® flexographic printing plates). Recent acquisitions in the healthcare and water business include Spectrum Plastics Group (2023), Donatelle Plastics (2024) and Sinochem (Ningbo) RO Memtech (2025). The Aramids and Electronics businesses are presented as discontinued operations.

Customers include biopharma and medical device makers, industrial wastewater and energy operators, municipal drinking water and desalination users, and life sciences and specialty customers. They also include non-residential, residential and repair-and-remodel construction customers, and OEMs in aerospace, automotive, electric vehicles, printing and packaging. Most products are sold through the Company's own sales organization, with some product lines relying more on distributors, independent retailers, cooperatives and agents. North American construction demand in Building Technologies is seasonally stronger in the second and third quarters.

At December 31, 2025, DuPont had subsidiaries in about 50 countries and manufacturing operations in about 20 countries, with approximately 15,000 employees, about half of them in the U.S. and Canada. It uses a wide variety of raw materials and energy, whose prices and availability are driven by global supply and demand and have been affected by supply chain disruptions and inflation. It competes with multinational companies and established regional firms on product innovation, technology, sustainability, pricing and customer service. It relies on trade secrets, about 6,100 patents and patent applications (about 4,700 tied to continuing operations) and well-known trademarks, and its facilities are subject to environmental laws and regulations.
