Arbe Robotics Ltd. is an Israeli company, founded on November 4, 2015, that provides 4D imaging radar solutions. It describes itself as leading a radar revolution, with products aimed at enabling driver-assist systems today and fully autonomous driving in the future. The company is a Tier 2 supplier to Tier 1 automotive companies and also serves autonomous ground vehicles and commercial and industrial vehicles. It is a foreign private issuer and an emerging growth company, reports in U.S. dollars, and has two wholly owned subsidiaries: Arbe Robotics US Inc. in Delaware and Shanghai Arbe Technologies Co., Ltd. in China.

Its core product is a proprietary radar chipset made up of three chips: a transmitter, a receiver and a dedicated radar processor with a Radar Processing Unit. Using up to two transmitters and four receivers, the chipset supports up to 2,304 virtual channels. It operates in the 77-81 GHz band at up to 30 frames per second with a detection range of up to 300 meters. It produces a 4D image of range, velocity, azimuth and elevation, and the company says this is far more detailed than other commercial radars. The Phoenix perception radar system is built on this technology and supports free space mapping, object tracking and simultaneous localization and mapping. The company says the chipset is designed to meet Euro-NCAP, U.S. NHTSA and Chinese SAMR requirements. It says it expects to offer the chipset in commercial quantities in 2026, subject to completing development and obtaining orders.

The company's direct customers are Tier 1 automotive module manufacturers that build radars on its chipset. Their end customers are car makers (OEMs) worldwide. Other target markets include defense and homeland security, traffic monitoring, robotaxis, robotrucks, delivery robots, shuttles, off-highway and heavy machinery, construction, buses and trains. It reports being selected for eight imaging-radar-based perception projects, two of them with top-five global OEMs. Selection decisions for those two are expected in 2026 and 2027, later than the earlier 2024 target. Its solution was also selected for autonomous trucks and automated guided vehicles at ports in China. The company cites industry forecasts of growing Level 2, Level 2+, Level 3 and Level 4 vehicle adoption.

Arbe has no chipset manufacturing facilities and relies on GlobalFoundries to manufacture and test its chipsets. It says competitors' best current systems offer about 256 virtual channels, and that other companies are developing improvements.
