Accuray Incorporated is a radiation therapy company that develops, manufactures, sells and supports treatment delivery, planning, imaging and data management solutions intended to help clinical teams deliver precise radiation treatments across a broad range of cases, from curative to palliative care. Its systems are designed to support treatments such as SRS, SBRT, IMRT, IGRT and adaptive radiation therapy, with software-enabled motion management, image guidance and tools for adaptive workflows and retreatment planning. The company was incorporated in California in 1990, began operations in 1992 and reincorporated in Delaware in 2007.

The portfolio has two platform families. The robotic CyberKnife platform, whose latest generation is the CyberKnife S7 System, mounts a compact X-band linear accelerator on a robotic arm. It uses Synchrony real-time target tracking and the Accuray Precision Treatment Planning System with VOLO Optimizer. It is offered with fixed, Iris variable aperture and InCise multi-leaf collimators, and the CyberKnife S7 F configuration is aimed at neuro-radiosurgery, working with Brainlab Elements software. The helical portfolio builds on TomoTherapy and includes Accuray Stellar for adaptive radiotherapy, the Radixact System as a flexible tailored solution, Accuray Helix as an entry point into helical therapy, and the Tomo C System, a made-in-China system from the CNNC-Accuray joint venture. Helical systems use a ring gantry with a 64-leaf binary MLC, TomoHelical and TomoDirect delivery modes, and ClearRT helical kVCT imaging on selected configurations. Accuray also provides customer support, installation, training and other professional services. It is expanding into remote diagnostics, workflow optimization, analytics and clinical support, and is developing AI-enabled predictive maintenance and diagnostic tools.

Customers are clinical teams, including radiation oncologists and neurosurgeons, in hospitals and cancer centers. The CyberKnife is used for tumors throughout the body, including the brain and spine, and for selected neurologic and endocrine disorders. Outside the United States, Accuray has regional offices in Morges, Switzerland; Hong Kong; Shanghai; and Tokyo. It has direct sales staff in most of Western Europe, Japan, India, Korea and Canada, and distributors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The joint venture manufactures and sells radiation oncology systems in China.

Its strategy centers on greater physician adoption, international expansion, portfolio differentiation, recurring service revenue and operating efficiency, including supply chain optimization and selective outsourcing. Partnerships include RaySearch Laboratories (RayStation and RayCare integration), Photo Diagnostic Systems, Brainlab, GE Healthcare, Airbus and IUCT-Oncopole, TrueNorth Medical Physics, and a 10-year collaboration with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. The principal U.S. office is in Madison, Wisconsin.
